Yours And Owls have announced their latest endeavour in the pursuit of musical mayhem: an 11-date tour of the east coast, headlined by The Belair Lip Bombs with a jam-packed slate of local supports at each show.
The epic jaunt – dubbed Jerry Can And A Van, a nod to the collaborative tie-in with Sailor Jerry – will take the Lush Life indie-rockers to a broad range of settings in both regional and capital cities, kicking off with a trio of back-to-back shows across Victoria: with support from Sunfruits, Holly Hebe and Underlay, they’ll play the Curtin Hotel in Melbourne on Thursday August 8, followed by Ballarat’s Volta on the Friday (August 9) and Geelong’s Barwon Club Hotel on the Saturday (August 10).
Up next will be a trio of shows supported by Sesame Girl, Sonic Reducer and Mr. Industry. The first will be an intimate gig at The Basement in Canberra, scheduled for Thursday August 15, followed by one at The Station in Jindabyne the following night (August 16), and lastly a free show at the Shark Bar in Manly the night after that (August 17).
From there, The Belair Lip Bombs will keep trekking through NSW for another three back-to-backers, this time with the assistance of Mac The Knife, HOON and Private Wives. They’ll all hit the stage at the King Street Hotel in Newcastle on Friday August 23, then head back down to Sydney for a show at the Crowbar on Saturday August 24, before wrapping up their weekend at La La La’s in Wollongong on Sunday August 25.
Rounding out the tour will be two special one-off shows; the first is booked in for Saturday August 31 at the Coolangatta Hotel, with The Belair Lip Bombs being supported by Sesame Girl, Holly Hebe, Underlay and Mr. Industry. The second will be an official BIGSOUND 2024 closing party at Ric’s Backyard in Brisbane, scheduled for Wednesday September 4 with support from HOON, Mac The Knife, Private Wives and Sonic Reducer.

The tour comes hot on the heels of The Belair Lip Bombs’ critically acclaimed debut album, Lush Life, which arrived last August via C.W. Records. It was supported by the singles Say My Name, Gimme Gimme and Look The Part.
