The Boys Season 4 Episode 5 is now streaming, and the fans want to know what happens to Stan Edgar and where he goes at the end. In Episode 5, The Boys get Stan (Giancarlo Esposito) out of the prison through their governmental connection and promise him a Presidential pardon if he helps them find an exclusively Supe-killing virus, which is now in the possession of Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit). This leads to an inevitable encounter between the two characters.
Here is what happens with Stan Edgar in the fifth episode of The Boys Season 4.
What does Victoria do with Stan Edgar at the end of The Boys S04E05?
Toward the end of Episode 5, The Boys send Stan Edgar back to prison. As Marvin, AKA M.M. (Laz Alonso) explains to the former CEO of Vought International, their deal stipulated that the latter would get the Presidential pardon for the virus. As they had to use the only ampoule of the virus to save themselves from the bloodthirsty flying sheep, Stan will have to return to prison.
However, Victoria Neuman kills Stan’s escort, effectively breaking him out of the governmental custody. It is unlikely that he will receive a pardon now, especially with his escort’s head blown off. Accordingly, it’s safe to presume that Victoria will take Stan to a safe house. Their relationship is incredibly complex; the two have betrayed each other in the past, but a genuine sense of connection still remains.
Moreover, Victoria is aware that she is surrounded by enemies, including The Boys and the President-elect of the United States. If anything happens to her, she knows that Stan will protect her daughter, Zoe. Additionally, in Episode 5, we are introduced to Zoe’s father and presumably Victoria’s husband, Sameer Shah (Omid Abtahi). He is the scientist who was working with the virus.
Victoria evidently cares for the man and becomes distraught when she discovers he is missing again after they have dealt with the sheep. Toward the end of the episode, an FBSA agent finds Sameer’s sliced-off leg and gives it to Victoria. It is later revealed that Butcher has kidnapped Sameer and chopped off his leg.
Butcher wants Sameer to develop the virus for him and Joe “Monkey” Kessler (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Victoria likely believes that Stan is responsible for her husband’s disappearance. Or, she has correctly figured out that Butcher or one of the other members of The Boys is behind it. Whatever the case, Victoria has realized that she needs Stan to find Sameer and free him.
