Here’s everything you need to know about Anika’s fate in The Boys Season 4.

Does Anika Die in The Boys Season 4 Episode 3?

Yes, Anika dies in The Boys Season 4 Episode 3.

Episode 3 features Anika’s shocking death. In the episode, there’s a tense interrogation scene where Sister Sage (Susan Heyward) confronts Anika, revealing that she’s suspected of leaking information to Starlight. Anika initially denies any involvement but becomes increasingly anxious under Homelander’s intimidating presence. Homelander promises not to harm her if she tells the truth, and Anika admits to speaking with Starlight (Erin Moriarty) about tracking someone. After that, Homelander (Antony Starr) swiftly executes her with his laser vision, leaving Sister Sage and Ashley stunned by the sudden, brutal outcome.

Sister Sage watched in dismay as Homelander fired the fatal shot, expressing her disappointment. She criticized his impulsive action, noting they were on the verge of discovering whom Starlight intended to track. Yet, the ruthless Homelander showed no mercy, especially towards anyone associated with Starlight or The Boys.

Following Anika’s death, another scene unfolded, highlighting Ashley’s anxiety. Frustrated by Homelander and The Seven‘s consistent misconduct, she drafted a resignation letter from Vought. However, after witnessing Anika’s sudden demise, she tore up the letter, fearing Homelander’s wrath, and abandoned her plans to leave.

Anika played a significant role in The Boys as a worker in Vought’s Crime Analytics division. Her responsibilities included tracking criminals, and in previous seasons, she assisted Homelander, Black Noir, and others in pursuing Billy Butcher. Before Anika’s death, The Deep was dismissed from the Crime Analytics department under Sister Sage’s authority.

The reason behind The Deep‘s firing was the theft of crucial surveillance footage from the Security Analytics department, which was subsequently leaked to Starlight. This prompted Sister Sage and Homelander to remove The Deep (Chace Crawford) from his position. Interestingly, it was A-Train (Jessie T. Usher), who orchestrated the theft out of frustration with Vought, wanting to act independently rather than as a puppet.
