Wu Jinyan is a popular Chinese actress who made her acting debut in the 2011 movie The Law of Attraction. Once a professional ballerina, Wu has appeared in several critically acclaimed TV shows and movies. She has also acted in some really popular dramas, including Story of Yanxi Palace, Royal Feast, Legacy, etc.

Set during the Ming Dynasty, the drama tells a story that portrays family values, love, and humanity.

In this 2022 Chinese drama, Wu Jinyan plays the role of Yi Zhong Yu, one of the three daughters of a businessman. Their father is the owner of a Shanghai department store giant, Xinghua. The sisters ruthlessly compete against each other to nominate the heir who will inherit the wealth and help the business flourish even further. It is a period drama set in the late 1920s.
The Legend of Hao Lan
In this 2019 drama, Li Hao Lan (Wu Jinyan) endures unbearable torture despite being the daughter of an official. During the war, she is forced out of her own home and sold off as a slave. In a turn of events, she is gifted to Ying Yi Ren (Mao Zijun), the king of Qin. When a dangerous fight breaks out between the states of Qin and Zhao, Hao Lan has to rely on her wits to get out of the miserable situation.
