The “largest ever” Oasis exhibition will be headed to the iconic Salford Lads’ Club.

The club, famous for being the location of the insid sleeve for The Smiths album ‘The Queen Is Dead’, is now set to host a giant Oasis exhibition. It will reportedly feature rare and exclusive memorabilia from the band, along with a selection of Noel Gallagher‘s six-figure guitar collection.
Put together by memorabilia company Bittersweet Home and sponsored by Propstore, Madchester & GioGoi, the exhibition promises to cover “every release, item, image, and story from 1992-2009, then to current day.”
Kyle Dale, Director at Bittersweet Home said: “Never before have we seen such historical items together in one room for any band, never mind a band as globally adored as Oasis. They defined a generation and every generation after, for fans to see this conclusive collection from their earliest demo to their current day solo projects is a true one-off experience.
“This museum worthy exhibition coincides with our last true rock stars Definitely Maybe 30th anniversary shows in Manchester. Let’s hope Liam pops in eh?”

The Manchester Evening News also reports that they will host a fan experience called ‘Together We’ll Fly’, where they will showcase a series of viewings for the general public. Signed merchandise will also be available for sale.
There will be an early viewing and VIP launch party on June 13, DJ’d by Radio X’s Sophie Sveinsson. There will also be two Q&A sessions hosted by writer and musician John Robb with Microdot’s Brian Cannon (who created several of Oasis’ artworks) and producer Nick Brine, who worked with the band from 1993-1997.
Proceeds will go towards raising funds for the Salford Lads’ Club.
Oasis recently announced their 30th anniversary reissue of their debut ‘Definitely Maybe’, due for release on August 30 via Big Brother Recordings.
It’ll be available as a limited-edition 4LP record, a deluxe 2CD, exclusive coloured vinyl and other formats – pre-order here.
The anniversary deluxe will contain tracks from the discarded original recording session at Monnow Valley Studios, along with outtakes recorded at Sawmills Studios in Cornwall – mixed for the first time by Noel Gallagher and Callum Marinho.
The album also includes an unreleased demo version of ‘Sad Song’. Originally released as a bonus track, this alternative take features Liam Gallagher’s vocals.
