In an Instagram post, casting director Jenny Jue from Downtown Casting shared that the team is seeking individuals who have low vision or are blind to apply for Toph’s role. Also, dance or martial arts experience is a plus, given that the character has impressive earth-bending skills.
Filming for the second season of Avatar: The Last Airbender will reportedly begin in Fall 2024. Most importantly, the team is looking forward to an inclusive and diverse casting. This means that interested people fitting the requirements from any part of the globe can apply.
To apply for the role, candidates need to submit the following: a resume, a one-paragraph bio, a current photo, their phone number, and full name.
