Three overnight homicides prompt investigations in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department (APD) reported three deadly incidents early Sunday morning.

1:35 a.m. at 2nd Street and Gold Ave SW
APD said one man was found dead at the scene of a fatal shooting.

2:05 a.m. at 6th Street and Copper Avenue SW
A stabbing was reported in an alley in the area. A victim was taken to an urgent care but determined to be dead. Police are investigating the scene of the incident.

2:20 a.m. at 1123 4th Street SW
A shooting was reported, and a deceased man was discovered. He had an “apparent gunshot wound.” Another victim was found to have been “grazed by” a bullet. She was hospitalized and is stable.
