Romanian cinematography receives an interesting challenge this 2024, and it is called “Towards The G-Spot“, a 100% Romanian film that is more than daring. In an age where everyone thinks about sex, but talks about it quite a bit, Republic Production & Bear with me films, together with directors Andi Gherghe & Szitai Eszter, offer the public an 82-minute comedy in which the plot is THE SEX.
On the International Day of the Female Orgasm, in a city in Transylvania, the love life of several young people takes an unexpected turn, after their intimate situations become their main concern. Five stories and hundreds of problems.
Ada, a 112 dispatcher, gets a bunch of tips on how to have an orgasm, and porn-obsessed IT guy Teo gets a surprise visit. Swingers Levi and Dora are looking for partners, while student Ina divides her life between two completely different worlds: video chat and church.
The corporatist Radu goes to a psychologist, where he learns that the basis of his violence is an unsuspected cause.
The cast of the film includes, among others, Bogdan Bob Rădulescu, Bogdan Farcaș, Adrian Cucu, Laura Mihalache, Larisa Dobrin and Cristian Iorga.
Towards the G-Spot talks about an often overlooked reality, a reality that is often the basis of real personal dramas. Modern man hardly finds the freedom to expose his shortcomings from the point of view of sexual life, and the frustrations thus accumulated lead to adultery, painful separations, sufferings.
“We want this project, which will be released in cinemas in Romania in October of this year, to open the eyes of many of us and give us the courage to open our souls, of course, to those who win our trust!”, declare the directors of the film.
