The chapter picks up where the previous one left off, with Gustang slapping Traumerie in the face. This angers Traumerie, forcing him to summon different creatures to deal with Gustang. However, the latter destroys them with ease. Traumerie then summons a group of megalodon to deal with him.
Traumerie tells him the creatures are merged with ancient shinueh, which means they won’t be burned easily. However, Gustang shows his power as a librarian, using it to summon a creature to destroy everything on Traumerie’s side.
He continues teasing his former friend by changing his mask into a cat-themed one. Traumerie, angered by his insolence, uses disconnection to destroy everything his shinsoo touches. The chapter ends with Traumerie telling Gustang that if one of them were to die, it would be him.
