What happens in the Unprisoned Season 2 trailer?

The Unprisoned Season 2 trailer features Washington’s Paige as she and her family continue struggling to deal with their issues. In an attempt to solve this, they enlist the help of John Stamos’ Murphy, who becomes their family therapist. The video highlights each character’s dilemma this coming season, including Paige’s conflict with her son.

The series is inspired by the life of author Tracy McMillan, who is also serving as an executive producer. The series also stars Faly Rakotohavana, Marque Richardson, Jordyn McIntosh, and Jee Young Han. Season 2 will also include guest stars John Stamos, Brenda Strong, Brandee Evans, Oliver Hudson and Jamie Chung. In addition to leading the cast, Washington and Lindo are also executive producing alongside Yvette Lee Bowser, Joy Gorman Wettels, and Jen Braeden.

“In the Unprisoned Season 2, The Alexander family is still a mess. Paige’s therapy practice is in trouble, Finn’s anxiety is through the roof, Edwin is still figuring out how to get his life together outside of prison, and their relationships are more complicated than ever,” reads the show’s newest synopsis. The family needs help, and it’s time to call in a professional – OTHER than Paige. The Alexanders turn to a “family radical healing coach,” who throws out all the rules to free them of the issues, old wounds and family secrets holding them back.”
