The upcoming modern workplace Chinese drama As Beautiful As You has released an official poster confirming its release date. It features Xu Kai, Tan Songyun, He Ruixian, and Gao Han in the lead roles. It is an adaptation of Jiu Yue Xi’s novel As Beautiful As Beijing.
The plot of this series revolves around Ji Xing (Tan Songyun), who resigns from her job to pursue entrepreneurship. But unfortunately, her team faces peril at the beginning of the business. Meanwhile, Ji Xing catches the eye of Han Ting (Xu Kai), president of a big technology company, who agrees to support her.
With Han Ting’s investment, the startup gets back on track. But misfortune strikes again when Ji Xing’s boyfriend of seven years breaks up with her. Although she breaks down initially, her close friends help her get back on her feet. After several failures, Ji Xing and Han Ting gradually aggrandized the business. In the process, their relationship transforms from business partners to friends to lovers.
But the good times do not last long, as the business faces jeopardy once again. On the other hand, Ji Xing’s love life also starts to face setbacks. Will Ji Xing be able to overcome her career slump and manage to flourish?
When will As Beautiful As You be released?
Tencent Video, As Beautiful As You’s primary broadcasting network, has released a poster revealing that the drama will premiere on July 2, 2024. Other than the lead actors, it also features Kira Shi, Wu Shi Le, Zhou Da Wei, Wang Yi Lan, Li Ya Nan, Tang Zhen Chao, Luo Ze Kai, Liu Hai Lan, Cui En Ci, and Gao Man Er in pivotal roles. Ao Rui Peng and Ma Wen Zhong will also appear in guest roles in the drama. Chen Chang is the director of the much-anticipated business drama.
The network has also released the ending theme for the drama, sung by the female lead, Tan Songyun, ahead of the release date. It depicts the heart-melting chemistry between the couple.
