Following the loss, Lynch invoked her rematch clause on the May 27th edition of WWE RAW. Unfortunately, she lost again due to outside interference from Dominik Mysterio, The Judgment Day, and Braun Strowman. After this defeat, Lynch posted a cryptic message on Instagram.
This message sparked fan speculation about her possible retirement. Reports later indicated that Lynch’s WWE contract was set to expire in June, and negotiations for a new deal had not yet been finalized. Since her contract expired, she has taken an extended leave of absence from WWE. Recently, there has been an update regarding Becky Lynch’s status on the WWE roster during her ongoing absence from television.

WrestleVotes Radio provided an update on former WWE Women’s World Champion Becky Lynch. It was revealed that her name remains on WWE’s weekly talent roster. According to Joey Votes, Lynch’s name continues to appear on the internal roster. The list is released alongside the television script each Monday and Friday.
While it does not confirm that she has signed a new deal, it indicates that she is still considered part of the team. The reports also stated that Becky Lynch’s name has not been removed from the roster since she took her hiatus, as described by Triple H. This raises further inquiries about whether she officially became a free agent or if there was an agreement made prior to her hiatus.
It is speculated that the promotion may have allowed her to take a break while still planning for her eventual return. Her name on the internal roster list suggests she is still with WWE. It is only a matter of time before her new contract is signed. This is because her husband, Seth Rollins, continues to perform for the promotion.
