Lovely Runner actor Byeon Woo-Seok will not participate in the reward vacation arranged for the K-drama’s cast members. Earlier news outlets reported that owing to the success of the series, the cast members would undertake a reward vacation to Phuket, Thailand. However, Byeon Woo-Seok’s agency, Varo Entertainment, confirmed his absence from the same due to his 2024 Asia meeting tour schedule.
Byeon Woo-Seok played the role of the male lead in the tvN K-drama Lovely Runner. The series follows the story of fangirl Im-Sol (Kim Hye-Yoon), who travels back in time to save her favorite idol Ryu Sun-Jae’s (Byeon Woo-Seok) life. The two gradually fall in love over multiple timelines while navigating a variety of challenges.
The drama premiered on April 8 and became one of the most popular K-dramas. The lead actors also gained worldwide appreciation, garnering a huge fanbase.
Byeon Woo-Seok’s agency Varo Entertainment confirms his absence from Lovely Runner K-drama reward vacation
On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, Byeon Woo-Seok’s agency Varo Entertainment confirmed that the Lovely Runner actor won’t be able to make it to the cast reward vacation due to his fan meeting schedule. They told Ilgan Sports, “Byun Woo-seok will not be able to participate in the reward vacation due to the previously scheduled Asia tour schedule.”
Byeon Woo-Seok began his 2024 Asia fan meeting tour SUMMER LETTER in Taipei, Taiwan, on Saturday, June 8, 2024. A massive wave of fans greeted him both in Seoul and Taiwan. The actor made memories at his first fan meeting, where he grew emotional over the support from fans. He also sang several Lovely Runner OSTs, including Sudden Shower, live for his fans. The actor will proceed with his tour in Bangkok, Manila, Jakarta, Singapore, and Seoul in June 2024.
Meanwhile, Kim Hye-Yoon is most likely to attend the reward vacation. The actress’ agency, Artist Company, told Ilgan Sports, “We are adjusting the schedule as much as possible.” The cast members will celebrate the drama’s success in Phuket, Thailand.
