ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – October is here and that means Balloon Fiesta is coming October 5 – 13. Lara Brockway from Visit Albuquerque has a list of things happening around the city during during Balloon Fiesta.
Indian Pueblo Cultural Center Events
October 5 – 15. The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center has things happening throughout Balloon Fiesta. There will be cultural dances each day, an art festival and a special program to celebrate Indigenous People’s Day.
Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Festival
October 11 -13 at Sandia Resort and Casino. Guests can see and shop from 200 artists at the festival. Attendees will also be able to enjoy live music, performances, local food and drinks.
Grecian Festival
October 4 – 6 at Saint George Greek Orthodox Church. The community is invited celebrate Greek culture. The festival features authentic foods, dancing and music. Guests can also shop for Greek gifts, jewelry and more.
Harvest Festival
October 5 – 6 at the ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden and Aquarium. People can come out and enjoy live music, local brews and festival treats all while exploring the botanic garden and aquarium
Bruja Fest
October 11 – 12 at EXPO New Mexico. Fans of all things witchy and mystical will be able to enjoy the festival filled with vendors, workshops, tarot reading, crystal healing, performances and more. There will also be a marketplace where guests can browse through unique handmade goods, jewelry and art.
