No, John Wactor wasn’t married and didn’t have a wife.
Wactor had always kept his personal life away from the public eye, making fans curious whether he was in a relationship or not. As per Marca, in 2022, he was allegedly linked with Kaitlin Sullivan, following their posted close moments on his social media handle. The two never openly confirmed their low-key relationship. Their shared images also now seem to be deleted, indicating that they might have parted ways earlier. Moreover, it was reportedly known that he was single and was focused on his acting career before his untimely death.
Johnny Wactor cause of death
As per Variety, Johnny Wactor died when he was shot by one of the three suspects who came to rob a vehicle’s catalytic converter on Saturday near Pica Boulevard and Hope Street.
Wactor’s mother Scarlett spoke with Fox News Digital and gave out details on what happened to her son. She revealed that he and his co-worker were returning from their bartending duties at a rooftop bar around 3 am or 3:30 am. That’s when they saw three men whom he thought were towing his car. However, when Wactor interrupted them, a masked man shot him.
Wactor was quickly taken to a local hospital. However, it was too late by then and he didn’t survive. Johnny Wactor’s death was confirmed by his agent David Shaul in an official statement, released by Variety, where he shared his kind words.
“Johnny Wactor was a spectacular human being. Not just a talented actor who was committed to his craft but a real moral example to everyone who knew him. Standing for hard work, tenacity and a never give up attitude. In the highs and lows of a challenging profession he always kept his chin up and kept striving for the best he could be. Our time with Johnny was a privilege we would wish on everyone. He would literally give you the shirt off his back. After over a decade together, he will leave a hole in our hearts forever,” Shaul said.
The police have opened an investigation and are on the search for the three suspects, who ran away from the crime scene.
