Coldplay have performed a new, unreleased song called ‘All My Love’ during their show in Athens. Check out footage of the moment below.

The moment took place during the band’s show on June 9 at the Olympic Stadium in Athens, where the band performed as part of their ongoing ‘Music Of The Spheres Tour’.
During the set, Chris Martin and co. broke out 23 songs from across their discography, and surprised fans by treating them to a preview of a new song that is set to arrive later this year. Called ‘All My Love’, the song was performed solo with Martin at the piano at the very end of the set, after ‘Biutyful’.
“We have a new song which you weren’t supposed to hear until September but I’m going to play it for you now one time,” he told the audience before launching into the track. “It would be better if you didn’t put this on the internet. I know that is difficult to ask. But we [want] you to treat this like a rehearsal between us. This is called ‘All My Love’. This is how we feel about all of you.”
In the song, the band seem to capture a similar feel to seen on their 2005 album ‘X&Y’, namely on fan favourite ‘Fix You’. The balled sees Martin singing about how a supportive relationship can survive both the times of stability and turmoil.
“We’ve been through lows, been through sunshine, been through the storm/ All the colours of the weather/ we’ve been through high, every corner of the sky. Still we hold it all together. You’ve got all my love,” he sings.
The gig also saw a number of famous faces in attendance too, with Luke Evans posting a video of himself in the crowd, alongside Joe Jonas, Kylie Minogue and Liam Hemsworth.
In a clip from the gig, Evans, Jonas and Minogue were seen singing along to the rendition of ‘Yellow’. Find that clip below, as well as the full setlist.

The surprise rendition of the new song comes just days after the band shared a teaser of another new single, which appears to be titled ‘First Time’.
The 20-second snippet was posted to the band’s Instagram account on June 7, with the simple caption reading: “First time”. Both new tracks would mark the band’s first new material since 2021’s ‘Music Of The Spheres’.
The video showed the frontman standing in front of the Pacific Park amusement park in Santa Monica, California, with the Ferris wheel swirling with dazzling lights behind him, while members of the public walk by.
Despite the footage being sped up, Martin appears to be singing the lyrics to the song in real-time. “It feels like I’m falling in love / You’re throwing me a lifeline / Oh, now for the first time / I know we’re not alone,” he sings.
Both previews come after the band teased that an album named ‘Moon Music’ was nearly finished back in January 2023. They described it at the time as “the second ‘Music Of The Spheres’ volume”, but added that it “won’t come out for a little bit”.
Coldplay have suggested in the past that they would stop releasing albums in the year 2025. Back in 2021, they said in an interview with Jo Whiley that they were coming to the end of their time writing new material.
Martin shared a similar sentiment with NME too in 2021, when he discussed how “intense” it can be to keep releasing new material.
“We’re going to make 12 albums. Because it’s a lot to pour everything into making them. I love it and it’s amazing, but it’s very intense too,” he said. “I feel like because I know that challenge is finite, making this music doesn’t feel difficult, it feels like, ‘This is what we’re supposed to be doing’.”
The band are currently preparing to headline Glastonbury Festival later this month, when they will become the first act ever to top the Pyramid Stage bill five times, after their slots in 2002, 2005, 2011 and 2016.
Earlier this Coldplay shared an update on the sustainability initiatives they have been implementing on their ‘Music Of The Spheres’ tour too. They said the tour had generated 59 per cent less CO2 emissions than their previous stadium tour in 2016 and 2017, beating their own target of 50 per cent.
