Watch Veeze Take Over London in New Video ‘Pop Yo S–t’

Detroit’s Veeze is back with his first single and video of 2024.

Directed by Jimmy Whisperz, “Pop Yo Shit” finds the young rapper on road in London floating over Basskid and Ddot production in his signature hazy flow.

“I got some money so d–n old, I built the pyramids,” Veeze spits while wearing a Davy Crockett-style coonskin hat and a gray North Face bubble. This track is filled with witty lines like that, as well as the artist appearing as Justin Timberlake in some scenes. Another standout bar is when he said, “Young n—a, I’m big bro now/Lil bros make my head hurt.”

The video and song are a ride into the mind of a madman. It’s easy to get lost in the the oft-kilter references and deepfakes, so pay attention and be careful because you might miss something.

With this track, Veeze looks to follow up his monster 2023. Not only was his album Ganger a critical darling, but his independent label Navy Wavy inked a partnership with Warner Records. Interestingly enough, a game of golf with Warner label heads is what sealed the deal. “Going golfing with Aaron Bay-Schuck and Tom Corson really persuaded me to do the partnership. Those guys are first-class gentlemen and I can see myself learning a lot from them,” the 7 Mile rapper told Billboard last year.

Recently, he’s been opening up for Travis Scott on the remainder of his Circus Maximus tour alongside fellow Detroit rappers Babyface Ray and Skilla Baby. He’s also embarked on his first European tour as he takes his unconventional style global.

He was just in London looking like Veeze Timberlake.
