How did Jake Moody get injured playing football?
Jake Moody suffered an ankle injury in his side’s 23-24 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
The unfortunate incident occurred with just minutes to go in the second quarter. Moody was trying to kick off a touchback but ended up fumbling his attempt. As such, the ball was intercepted by the Cardinals’ DeeJay Dallas, who subsequently launched a counterattack. Dallas was met by Moody on the left side of the pitch, who tried to put in a tackle to make up for his mistake.
However, Jake Moody ended up landing awkwardly on his right leg, resulting in an injury. He was ultimately replaced by punter Mitch Wishnowsky, who assumed kicking responsibilities in Moody’s absence. The initial diagnosis seems to suggest that the player has encountered a high ankle sprain.
