Byeon Woo-Seok currently captures everyone’s attention with his performance in Lovely Runner. However, the South Korean actor has previously played many important cameo roles in K-dramas, one of which is Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. It is still one of his crucial guest appearances. The storyline of Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo revolves around Go Ha-Jin’s (IU) life. During a total sun eclipse, Ha-Jin finds herself back in the Goryeo Dynasty of Korea during King Taejo’s rule. She embodies a 16-year-old Hae-Soo living in 8th Prince Wang Wook’s house.
Wang Wook is married to Hae-Soo’s cousin. She soon becomes the popular one and befriends several princes on her way. Even though she knows she shouldn’t be involved in all of the matters of the throne, she becomes a pawn in it. However, how she solves the problems and gets out of them is what makes the rest of the drama narrative.

Byeon Woo-Seok plays Go Ha-Jin’s boyfriend in the present timeline. He appears in episode 3 of the drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. His character has a negative personality attached to it. He cheats on Ha-Jin with another girl, and later on, he gets caught red-handed by Ha-Jin. He breaks her heart. Even though he didn’t have much to contribute in the series, those who have watched it, have appreciated his appearance.
Byeon Woo-Seok is leading tvN’s ongoing K-drama Lovely Runner along with Kim Hye-Yoon. In that series, he plays Ryu Sun-Jae, a K-pop idol who faces a tragic death, and his passionate fan Im Sol travels back in time to save him. In the process, their fates get intertwined, and they fall in love with each other.
