As the transfer deadline day approaches its end, the fate of several players hangs in the balance. Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman is one such footballer who is reportedly in search of a new club. Multiple clubs have been linked with the Frenchman’s signing throughout the summer window, although to no avail so far. While recent rumors have connected the winger’s name with Arsenal and Al-Hilal, a deal has yet to materialize with either party.

At the time of writing, the 28-year-old attacker stays put in Bayern Munich.
Premier League giants Arsenal have long led the line to sign him but have failed to find success in their pursuit. As such, Al-Hilal have swooped in to take their spot as the frontrunners for Coman’s signature. The Saudi Arabian club have tabled an offer of £34 million for the player’s services, as per Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg.
On the other hand, Arsenal are seemingly looking to complete the transfer of Kingsley Coman on loan. According to The Sun, the Gunners prefer a temporary deal for the explosive winger as opposed to a permanent move. Mikel Arteta has long been in need of a defining attacker but has hesitated from shelling out big amounts. This was reported to have been the primary reason behind the North London outfit’s decision to drop out from the race for Ivan Toney.
Arsenal have already sealed the signings of Mikel Merino and Riccardo Calafiori this summer. Additionally, they forked out a considerable amount to make the transfer of David Raya permanent. On the other hand, reigning SPL champions Al-Hilal have only recruited one high-profile name, in the form of Manchester City’s Joao Cancelo.
Despite all the rumors linking him to Arsenal and Al-Hilal, Kingsley Coman remains at the Allianz Arena as of now.
