My Demon actress Kim Yoo-Jung is all set to play the lead role in an upcoming thriller K-drama Dear X, as reported by Star News on June 4, 2024. The series will be an adaptation of the popular webtoon of the same name by VANZIUN. Renowned South Korean television director Lee Eung-Bok will reportedly helm the K-drama.

Kim Yoo-Jung’s brilliant acting in the hit SBS Korean drama My Demon gained worldwide acclaim. As such, it will be interesting to see what her role in Dear X will be like.

Kim Yoo-Jung will reportedly portray the main character, Baek Ah-Jin, in Dear X. According to the webtoon, the character is a famous award-winning actress who is at the top of her field. She is also loved by the public and has a huge fan following.

However, Baek Ah-Jin has a dark side, which she has been hiding from the public eye with the help of her stunning appearance and charismatic personality. She is a sociopath who punishes those who show any sign of disrespect towards her. Moreover, she controls the people around her to achieve what she wants.

Baek Ah-Jin can also see through those individuals who pose any threat to her and understand their real intentions. Dear X will thus depict the downfall of the actress after a particular incident jeopardizes her social position.

Lee Eung-Bok, who is known for directing renowned series like Descendants of the Sun, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, and Sweet Home, will serve as the director of Dear X. Penned by Choi Ja Won, the production company Monster Union will reportedly produce the upcoming K-drama.
