Created by Bae Hyun-jin and Choo Hye-mi, Hierarchy is a South Korean drama series. The plot revolves around the students of the exclusive Jooshin High School. Established by the Jooshin Group, the country’s biggest conglomerate, the school has an extremely high rejection rate. Kang Ha is a new student at the school. Seeking acceptance among his elite peers, Kang Ha takes certain daring steps and discovers the school’s dark secret. Season 1, comprising seven episodes, premiered on Netflix on June 7, 2024. Is there a Hierarchy Season 2 release date?
There is no Hierarchy Season 2 release date as the show was developed as a limited series.
Netflix officially designates Hierarchy as a limited series, so a second season is unlikely. The South Korean shows traditionally end after one season. While there have been several multi-seasonal projects in recent years since Netflix and other streaming services entered that industry, single-season TV shows are still the norm. In addition, Hierarchy finishes its story within the seven episodes that make up the first season, leaving little narrative scope for future exploration.
The cast of Hierarchy includes Roh Jeong-eui as Jung Jae-i, Lee Chae-min as Kang Ha, and Kim Jae-won as Kim Ri-an. Hierarchy also features Ji Hye-won as Yoon He-ra and Lee Won-jeong as Lee U-jin.
Why Hierarchy Season 2 might not be happening
