Woman accused of stabbing man unprovoked at Gallup grocery store

GALLUP, N.M. (KRQE) – Gallup Police were called to a Safeway around 3:40 p.m. Monday to reports of a stabbing. Callers reported to police a 44-year-old man was stabbed in the stomach in an unprovoked attack.


UNMH: Critical Care Tower experiencing construction delays

Police arrived on scene arrested the suspect, 41-year-old Sheila James, who was inside the Safeway. James faces charges including attempted murder and aggravated battery. The victim was taken to the Gallup Indian Medical Center where he is in stable condition.
