Albuquerque Police Department asks for help finding suspect in 2020 murder

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect from a murder nearly four years ago. APD responded to reports of shots fired near Charleston St. in northeast Albuquerque in September 2020. Police say they found 34-year-old Jeremy Stueck on the sidewalk with several gunshot wounds.

Despite surveillance video showing the incident, officers could not identify the suspect. “It did capture an unknown individual described by some witnesses as possibly a heavier set Hispanic or white male who was seen walking up to the victim, no provocation,no conversation, and no altercation, and just shot Mr. Steuck multiple times,” said APD Sgt. Sarah Kastendieck.
