Albuquerque Public Schools invites community to Substance Prevention Expo

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Public Schools is inviting the community to its Substance Prevention Resource and Empowerment Expo Monday.

The event will be at the National Hispanic Cultural Center May 6, from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. APS says the event is in response to the growing concerns about substance use and its impact on the community. The expo is designed to raise awareness and educate students, parents and community members about the dangers of drugs and alcohol. Any APS student who attends the expo will be eligible to receive extra credit.
