Arrest made in Hobbs double homicide

HOBBS, N.M. (KRQE) – The Hobbs Police Department reports that a suspect is in custody for a double homicide in Hobbs. According to Hobbs Police, officers responded to a home on May 15 and found two men who had been shot. Both men died from their injuries.

Police identified the victims as 54-year-old David Castillo and 52-year-old Felipe Castillo.

Following the investigation, police say 34-year-old David Rodriguez-Baeza was arrested in connection to the double homicide. He is facing two counts of first-degree murder.
