ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Although local skateboarder Mariah Duran was already knocked out of the 2024 Paris games, the city is inviting the community to cheer on the other athletes still skating for the gold.
The City of Albuquerque is hosting an Olympic skateboarding viewing event on Tuesday at North Domingo Baca Skate Park off Wyoming and Carmel.

Aside from watching the competition, there will also be food trucks and giveaways.
The event kicks off August 6 at 8 a.m. and goes until 11.
