Several viewers who had been just watching the anime deduced that the person behind this miracle must be Arisu. They’re right, as this was revealed in Classroom of the Elite light novel series.
She promised to get Yamauchi praise votes from Class A. However, she uses her position as the class leader to get all those votes to Ayanokoji. This is because Arisu wishes to face Ayanokoji in the next exam. She believes that this exam was rigged to get him expelled. However, Arisu wishes to face him off in a proper battle. This is why she fabricated this plan to save him from getting expelled.
