Community meetings bring people together for exchange of ideas and memorable shared experiences. Here’s a sampling of events in the San Fernando Valley area.

 

May 27

 

Canoga Park Memorial Day Parade: An opening ceremony, 10 a.m., with presentations by U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Peter Gravett, retired, who is also the grand marshal for the 32nd parade, and local elected officials (ceremony location at the corner of Remmet Avenue and Sherman Way).
