Confidence Man Announce '3AM (LA LA LA)' Australian Tour

Australian party starters Confidence Man are about to return to the road this October and November, announcing a national tour in support of their forthcoming album, 3AM (LA LA LA).

For their first national tour since August 2022 (Confidence Man have since performed on the Australian festival circuit), the band—Janet Planet, Sugar Bones, Reggie Goodchild, and Clarence McGuffie—have just announced some massive tour dates.

Kicking things off at the Freo Social on Thursday, 24 October, the band then heads to Adelaide’s The Gov on Friday, 25 October, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Saturday, 26 October, Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Friday, 1 November, before wrapping up the tour with two gigs in Victoria: Torquay Hotel on Saturday, 2 November, and Melbourne’s Forum on Monday, 4 November. Australian-raised, London-based Loods will open all shows.

“‘3AM (LA LA LA)’ is gonna shake your mind, body and soul. If not, sounds like a you problem,” Confidence Man’s Sugar Bones commented in a statement. “It’s bubblegum warehouse at its finest, and that’s a legally binding con man guarantee.

“We can’t wait for the homecoming of the century. We’re gonna hotbox your head, steal your car, rearrange your body, and probably crash your house party. Clothes optional.”

Frontier Members can score access to pre-sale tickets for the homecoming of the century on Monday, 17 June, at 1 pm local time, followed by a general sale beginning on Wednesday, 19 June, at 9 am local time. You can find tickets and more touring information via the Frontier Touring website.

In a statement, the dance-pop group explained that they started working on their new album with the mission to “dehumanise pop music and make it over-the-top and ridiculous again” but eventually shifted their sights to classic UK rave.

3AM (LA LA LA) will be released on Friday, 18 October, via I OH YOU – head here to pre-order it, and take a look at the music video for the first single, I CAN’T LOSE YOU, directed by Zac Dov Wiesel, below:
