About two years after playing the leads in Ustad Hotel, Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen came together for the 2014 film Bangalore Days. Written and directed by Anjali Menon, the romantic comedy is considered a classic of Malayalam cinema. While Dulquer Salmaan, Nivin Pauly, and Nazriya Nazim play lead roles in the movie, it has a giant star cast that portrays supporting characters. Fahadh Faasil, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Isha Talwar, Paris Laxmi, Nithya Menen, and more played crucial roles in the movie.
Bangalore Days follows the story of three cousins, Divya, Kuttan, and Arjun, who relocate to Bangalore to fulfill their childhood dream. 100 Days Of Love
In 2015, Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen reunited for another romantic comedy 100 Days Of Love. Written and directed by Jenuse Mohamed, the movie came out to be a success at the box office. It received mixed to positive response from the audience. However, critics were evidently impressed by the beautiful love story.
100 Days Of Love follows the story of Balan K Nair, a columnist who falls for his childhood classmate Sheela. While they had a rather strained history as children, their love lives take drastic turns when they meet again as adults. OK Kanmani
The 2015 film OK Kanmani, aka O Kadhal Kanmani, marked Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen’s last outing together. For the unversed, OK Kanmani has been remade in Hindi as OK Jaanu. Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur, Mani Ratnam gave the movie’s story.
