The current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Damian Priest, has a major target on his back from former WWE NXT Champion Karrion Kross. Priest, who won the title last month at WrestleMania 40, cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on Drew McIntyre. CM Punk attacked McIntyre, who had defeated Seth Rollins for the title, leading Priest to seize the opportunity and cash in his Money in the Bank contract, becoming the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

During the WWE 2024 Draft, Monday Night RAW selected The Final Testament. It appears that the faction’s leader, Karrion Kross, is actively seeking a world title opportunity. Also, on X (formerly Twitter), a fan asked if Kross is interested in challenging WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest. Kross, in his classic style, responded with his famous catchphrase, “Tick Tock.”

Tick tock.

Karrion Kross, the leader of The Final Testament, typically relies on outnumbering opponents through his faction’s strategy. However, when it comes to Damian Priest, Kross encounters a substantial challenge. Priest, a member of The Judgment Day, poses a major threat to Kross if he decides to target Priest with his faction, considering that The Judgment Day would likely come to his aid in such a situation.

Both Damian Priest and Karrion Kross have a history together dating back to their NXT days when both stars displayed a heated rivalry.

Damien Priest’s WWE world title reign at risk against a major threat

Damian Priest, who recently defeated Jey Uso at the WWE Backlash in France, may be at risk of losing his title reign. On the latest edition of WWE RAW, Priest interrupted Drew McIntyre, who labeled him a paper champion. Priest accused McIntyre of being delusional and held him responsible for losing the world title. He also pointed out that McIntyre prioritized CM Punk over Priest’s title win at WWE WrestleMania 40.

Despite suffering from an elbow injury, McIntyre has been pushing for a rematch. He gets his wish as Priest stated he is ready to give him a title shot. The matchup between Priest and McIntyre is speculated to occur next month at WWE Clash at the Castle in McIntyre’s home country of Scotland.
