Hobbs man critically injured after shooting

HOBBS, N.M. (KRQE) – One person was shot and hospitalized, the Hobbs Police Department said. It happened on May 25 around 12:20 a.m.

The police said officers were called to the 2000 block of North Kingsley Street after someone had been shot. James Lara-Salazar, 18, of Hobbs, was found with multiple wounds. He was taken to a local hospital and then flown to Texas for further treatment. He’s in critical condition.
