NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – For the first time since 2019, Hubbell Trading Post is returning to Bandelier National Monument May 18 and 19 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Visitors will get the chance to experience the heritage of the Navajo people and enjoy a number of cultural items. Guests can browse and shop hundreds of handcrafted Navajo jewelry and rugs. Navajo trader Wallace James Jr. will be on site from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. each day for talks on the Navajo rugs and Tonita Yazzie will be giving weaving demonstrations.
