Katie Ledecky has been a standout athlete during the 2024 Paris Olympics, only solidifying her legacy as one of the best swimmers in the world. The American swimmer hasn’t just made headlines for showing off her Team USA gear while cheering on fellow teammates and scoring multiple gold medals during the summer Olympics; the 31-year-old athlete has also landed herself at the top of the book charts with her memoir Just Add Water: My Life Swimming topping Amazon’s bestsellers list for Olympic Games.

Fans can dive into the athlete’s life as she grew up in Bethesda, Maryland, where she discovered her love for the pool and, with it, swimming. The memoir retells her life straight through Ledecky herself, including all the trials and tribulations she encounters to make her to becoming an Olympic gold medalist.

The book was originally published June 11 and includes her perspective of almost all the Olympics she’s competed in, including in London, Rio and Tokyo.
