Kitchen Dwellers have officially unveiled plans for a four-night New Year’s Eve celebration, plotting engagements at three high-profile East Coast venues to round out a busy year of touring. After appearances in Ardmore, Pa. and Baltimore, the band’s last hurrah of 2024 in Asheville, N.C. will be final performances at Salvage Station before its lights fall for good, sending the beloved DIY venue and jam haven off with a fittingly spectacular celebration.
The pathbreaking bluegrass unit’s NYE run begins on December 27, when the group will take the stage at Ardmore, Pa.’s Ardmore Music Hall. For the following evening, the band will race down the coast to Baltimore for a show at Union Craft Brewing. Both of these performances will figure the group alongside Fireside Collective, a four-piece Asheville-based progressive bluegrass combo with heavy jam inflection. After this first phase, the Dwellers will move on to Salvage Station, which will formally shutter after the lights go down due to an eminent domain claim from the state.
