McDonald’s will bring back the days of collectible cups with a new meal coming out on Tuesday, Aug. 13.
The Collector’s Meal will come with one of six nostalgic cups featuring mashups of beloved characters from decades past, according to a news release.

In addition, the fast food giant will promote the meals with a “Collector’s Club Poolside Paradise” at Santa Monica Pier 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17. festivities will include a live DJ, merchandise giveaways and exclusive drinks.

In addition to tickets, guests must show a Collector’s Cup to attend.
Choice of meals includes Sausage McMuffin with Egg sandwich, Hash Brown and Hot Coffee during breakfast hours; 10-piece Chicken McNuggets with fries and a soft drink; or a Big Mac sandwich with fries and a drink.
The cups are Mattel toys Barbie & Hot Wheels; Beanie Babies; Hello Kitty together with Peanuts characters; “Shrek,” “Jurassic Park” and “Minions”; Coca-Cola; and McDonald’s favorites such as Grimace and Funny Fry Friends.
