A missing 15-year-old Monterey Park girl was found Tuesday morning, July 23.

Police did not say where they found her but that they were assisted by Glendale police. KABC reported that she was found outside the TV station’s office in Glendale.

Someone saw the girl as she was walking, recognized her and called police, according to KABC.

“(The) Monterey Park Police Department extends its appreciation to community members and the many local, state and federal partners for their assistance during the investigation,” according to that agency’s statement.

The teen left her home shortly after 5:30 p.m. on July 16. She was last seen on surveillance video riding a mountain bicycle at 6:32 p.m. in the 4400 block of Collis Avenue in Los Angeles in the El Sereno area.

The Southern California News Group is not using her name to protect the minor’s privacy.
