The previous chapter explained the current state of affairs in the Yotsurugi family. It also featured a clash between Hibaru and Terasu due to their different opinions on handling their brothers. Negai no Astro chapter 3 recap: Hibaru and Terasu’s heated exchange
The chapter starts with Hibaru welcoming Ginji back after rival members seemingly assaulted him. Hibaru then tells him everything that happened, including Shio’s orders to kill him and Terasu. Ginji tells them that Shio instigated a rebellion, leading everyone to start their own base and start competing for the title of boss.
Although Hibaru was stunned by the statements, Terasu remained calm, as he never expected his brothers to simply allow him to take charge. He asks for the key to the armory and reveals the weapons they have, explaining their slight advantage. However, Hibaru refuses to use guns on his siblings as he believes it will start an irreversible war. Despite Hibaru’s reservations, Terasu tells him they aren’t even really brothers, as they are not all blood-related.

Hibaru then leads him to the dojo, where they all have trained as children, and challenges him to a battle under the Yotsuragi family code. Terasu is shocked by his actions but agrees to fight him. Hibaru attacks with his Astro but Terasu blocks it with his Shield Astro and counters Hibaru’s attack. Terasu beats him, explaining that this is a war and it’s kill or be killed now.
However, Hibaru pushes him off and unleashes a flurry of attacks that overwhelm Terasu. He tells him it’s just a scuffle between brothers, and as siblings, they’ve gone through it before. He tearfully asks Terasu to stop saying they are nothing more than strangers. Terasu apologizes, and Hibaru reveals his plans to confront his brothers to get them on their side. The chapter ends with Hibaru and Terasu setting off to confront their brother, Kuran.
