Parts of Cibola National Forest reopen after debris cleared

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) –  Three areas of the Cibola National Forest and National Grasslands reopened Wednesday after being closed for a little over two months.

The Upper Red Canyon campground and Red Canyon and Spruce Spring trailheads on the Mountainair Ranger District reopened at 10 a.m. They were closed on April 309 so crews could remove hazardous trees that fell over the winter or from the Tussock Moth infestation.
