Peach at the Beach Reveals Schedule for Inaugural Atlantic City Festival

RMAG news

With Peach at the Beach Festival less than a month away, the festival has shared the full schedule for its highly-anticipated inaugural event. Set to stage on the new Summer Concert Stage at Atlantic City, N.J.’s ISLAND Waterpark at Showboat Resort on July 13, Peach at the Beach will offer a total of 13 performances from figureheads of the jam scene.

The bulk of Peach’s programming will arrive on the main stage, which will host acts from 3-9 p.m. The stage will open with a set from Mykal Rose of legendary reggae group Black Uhuru, followed by sets from ace bassist and scene-favorite songwriter Karina Rykman and the Allman Brothers Band cover ensemble Trouble No More, who will perform the entirety of the iconic 1972 album Eat a Peach. Things will build to a peak with the arrival of hometown heroes Dogs in a Pile, who will prime the crowd for the arrival of the inimitable Grateful Dead revivalism of headliners Joe Russo’s Almost Dead. The side Waterpark Stage will host DJ sets from Dj King Mega, DJ Logic and Uncle Jesse, as well as a second performance from Dogs in a Pile.

Peach’s celebration will continue into the evening with a slate of late-night shows in the resort’s Bourbon Ballroom. At 11:30, DJ Logic will let loose his trademark brew of electro-acoustic improvisation, followed by a performance from Doom Flamingo at midnight, who will present a special show called “Queen is Doomed.” The Marco Benevento Band and Friends will close out the stage on Saturday, and the Disco Biscuits will offer a festival-opening performance at 9:00 p.m. on Friday night.
