Ravi Teja is among the most active stars of the Telugu film industry, and after his last spy thriller, Eagle, the actor has several movies in the pipeline. Recently, his new film with actress Sreeleela has been officially announced and is tentatively titled RT75. With this 75th movie of Ravi Teja, writer Bhanu Bogavarapu is also making his directorial debut.
As the movie has been launched, details about its shoot and release date have been announced.
When will Ravi Teja, Sreeleela’s upcoming movie, RT75, release?
Sithara Entertainments recently shared the pictures from the RT75 launch ceremony. In the photos, Ravi Teja and Sreeleela can be seen posing together with the movie’s team. A clapperboard with the movie’s tentative title, RT75, written on it could also be seen. Along with the photos, the makers announced that the movie’s shoot began today, i.e., June 11, 2024. Moreover, the film’s release has been scheduled on the occasion of Sankranthi 2025. The announcement read, “Gear up for an ultimate mass entertainer! MASS MAHARAJA @RaviTeja_offl ~ #RT75 Launched officially with a pooja ceremony today! Shoot begins from Today! A Sankranthi 2025 Release!”
For the unversed, Sankranthi is one of the busiest festivals of the year for film releases. This year, not one or two but four Telugu movies were released around the auspicious festival. Moreover, as the festival is celebrated as Pongal among Tamils, several Tamil movies are also released around the same date.
Fans are already excited about Teja’s new project and are lauding the makers for already locking in its release date window. An X (formerly Twitter) user wrote, “Perfect timing of release,” while another penned, “All the best sitara team have a good day & once again superb blockbuster reapeted (sic) with your banner.” Sreeleela’s last movie, Guntur Kaaram with Mahesh Babu, was also released during Sankranti 2024. The movie witnessed an average performance at the box office.
