RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – Some four-legged Rio Rancho police officers will be safer doing their jobs thanks to a national charity that was started by a child. K9 officers Nigel and Chance were given brand-new, dog-tailored ballistic vests.
The donation came from Brady’s K9s, a national charity that has vested over 950 dogs across the country. The organization was founded by 8-year-old Brady Snakovsky who was worried about the safety of police dogs.
