RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – The Rio Rancho Police Department says it is holding its first-ever K9 competition this weekend. They say the event will give police dogs from around the state a chance to compete in agility, detection, and apprehension.
Admission is free for the public and will have food trucks and other vendors on site. There will also be activities for kids. The competition will be on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rio Rancho High School football stadium.
