Shocking footage of Sean DiddyCombs physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend, American singer and dancer Cassie Ventura, has surfaced due to video footage captured on surveillance cameras obtained by CNN.

In the video, Combs is seen grabbing, shoving, dragging and kicking Ventura in a hotel room in the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, in 2016. The release of the video also matches up with Ventura’s allegations in the lawsuit she made against Combs on 16 November 2023.

Ventura attempts to exit a hotel room and walk towards elevators when Combs, holding a towel around his waist, runs after Ventura, drags her by the neck and throws her to the floor before he kicks her. The surveillance cameras captured the violence occurring from different angles.

After she laid motionless and Combs dragged her to a room, Ventura slowly got up and gathered some items from the floor. Combs returned and looked to shove Ventura. He then sat down and threw an object at Ventura. He started to approach her again when she approached an elevator when an elevator door opened, and someone else exited.

Neither Ventura nor Combs commented on the footage obtained by CNN.

In a statement, Ventura’s attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, called the video “gut-wrenching” and said it only “further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behaviour of Mr. Combs.”

A day after Ventura filed a lawsuit against Combs that alleged a decade-long “cycle of abuse, violence and sex trafficking” in their on-and-off-again relationship between 2007 and 2018, the pair reached an out-of-court settlement and, at the time of writing, neither of them have disclosed the terms of the settlement.

Ventura mentioned the recorded incident in her lawsuit, saying it happened “around March 2016”.

After she filed her lawsuit, Combs’ attorney, Ben Brafman, told CNN that Combs “vehemently” denied the “offensive and outrageous allegations”.

In March, Combs’ Los Angeles and Miami homes were raided by federal agents as they investigated allegations of sex trafficking and sexual assault. In addition to those claims, he was also being investigated for the solicitation and distribution of illegal firearms and narcotics. Combs has faced five accusations and lawsuits regarding sexual assault since November.

In December, Diddy posted a statement on social media and wrote that he “did not do any of the awful things being alleged.”
