Soo-Ji and Woo-Ri Episode 8 aired on KBS on April 3, 2024. The K-drama is about a love story between a star psychiatrist, Jin Soo-Ji, and a rookie doctor, Chae Woo-Ri. Baek Sung-Hyun plays Woo-Ri, while Hahm Eun-Jung portrays Soo-Ji. Slowly, the series is garnering the audience’s attention and is buzzing everywhere.
Jin Soo-Ji is a celebrity doctor who works day and night to prove her worth. She is quite difficult to gel up. After her mom left her in her childhood, she has been going through abandonment trauma.
On the other hand, Woo-Ri likes to be compassionate and believes kindness is a way to treat his patients. In episode 8, will the viewers see a blooming friendship between them? So, without any further ado, let’s take a look at the recap of the episode. Beware of the spoilers.
Soo-Ji and Woo-Ri Episode 8: Did Song Ye-Bin confront Kang Byul for the dress?
Spoilers ahead. Episode 8 begins with Hahm Eun-Jung and Baek Sung-Hyun enjoying their dinner together at a restaurant. As they bond over the meal, when Chae Woo-Ri asks Soo-Ji about her breakdown the other day, she cuts short their dinner. She got up and left the restaurant. This left Woo-Ri curious about whether something was wrong.
On the other hand, Soo-Ji asks her sister, Jin Na-Young, to accept her fault for disputing the dress. In the same conversation, when Soo-Ji declares she can’t get in touch with Ms Son, Na-Young gets furious and starts blaming her for ruining her career. Na-Young kept denying it.
Later, in the office, she confronts Doo-Ri (Song Ye-Bin) and requests her to keep quiet about the dress as she is ready to pay double the price. Doo-Ri blasts and asks her to apologize for it first. When Jin Na-Young scoffs, Doo-Ri asks to keep her money with her and says ‘truth is very powerful’.
In the meantime, an event has been arranged for the 50th anniversary at the Haedeul hospital. There, Jin Soo-Ji reunites with an old friend. This ignites a possible love triangle in the future, as it seems at the end.
Soo-Ji and Woo-Ri airs every day from Monday to Friday at 8:30 p.m. KST on KBS. It can be streamed on Viki.
