In Albuquerque, Roadrunner Food Bank will benefit from the food collected from the drive. Anyone interested in participating can just fill a bag with non-perishable food items and leave it near your mailbox before delivery on May 11. Mail carriers pick up the donations and bring them back to the post office, where volunteers will be set up to collect the food. People may also bring their food donations directly to a post office on May 11. Last year, over 123,000 pounds of food was raised in Albuquerque.
