Thai actor Barcode Tinnasit Isarapongporn has announced his exit from Be On Cloud. The production house is known for his massive hit Thai BL drama KinnPorsche The Series La Forte. Barcode Tinnasit made his acting debut in KinnPorsche in 2022. The 19-year-old went on to star in Be On Cloud’s latest project, Dead Friend Forever – DFF, in 2023. In fact, Barcode most recently graced the BFF Fan Meeting, following the conclusion of the thriller series.
Be On Cloud has now announced Barcode Tinnasit’s exit from the label as the actor’s contract with the production house has come to an end. The statement has further added that “Barcode is entitled to make his own decisions freely regarding all possible work and project opportunities.”
The company also praised Barcode’s “determination and devotion” to his work at Be On Cloud. The statement continued, “The company wishes him an abundant future with great success in all career paths that he pursues.”
Barcode Tinnasit set to star in upcoming BL drama Wuju Bakery
Barcode Tinnasit is now gearing up to star in the highly anticipated K-drama, Wuju Bakery. The actor is joined by his KinnPorsche co-star, Jeff Satur. The story of Wuju Bakery revolves around a small-town bakery that is re-established following several hardships. However, things take a turn when a spaceship crashes into the bakery soon after its reopening. The bakery’s boss, Wuju (Barcode), crosses paths with a mysterious alien, Ra On (Jeff).
Wuju Bakery was initially slated to release earlier this year. However, Hanyang Studio announced that the BL drama’s release was postponed to the latter half of 2024. Although fans now have to wait longer, the reason behind the delay is rather exciting. The statement explained, “The primary reason for the schedule change is the alteration of the drama’s running time from 30 minutes to 50 minutes.”
As fans eagerly await more updates on Wuju Bakery, they can watch Barcode and Jeff in the KinnPorsche series, which is available to stream on iQIYI.
