The Disco Biscuits have officially announced plans for New Year’s Eve, continuing the pioneering jamtronica outfit’s longstanding tradition of end-of-year blowouts. This year, the quartet will bring its celebration home to Philadelphia for two nights at The Fillmore. As the band’s 2023 hometown NYE extravaganza at Franklin Music Hall comprised two thrilling surprise-filled shows–including the debuts of instant classics “Ring The Doorbell Twice” and “Fire Will Exchange” and a special electricity-themed set to ring in 2024–fans can expect the group to outdo itself as always, elevating its high-concept multimedia performance for an auspicious outset to 2025.
Bisco’s 2024 NYE plans follow last week’s unveiling of its Fall Tour, which will bring the band to 14 engagements along the East Coast from Oct. 30 to Nov. 24. To amplify the anticipation for this series early on, the band will travel to The Caverns in Pelham, Tenn. for a three-night Halloween run from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2. Other highlights include a debut performance at Woodstock, N.Y.’s newly reopened Bearsville Theater on Nov. 13, a two-night closing series at Buffalo, N.Y.’s Town Ballroom on Nov. 23 and 24 and a Nov. 9 booking at Brooklyn, N.Y.’s Brooklyn Steel, which will bring the band to New York City for the first time since its celebrated Revolution in Motion album release show in March.
Before embarking on the new tour, The Disco Biscuits will round out a jam-packed summer celebrating the release of the groundbreaking seventh studio album and space opera Revolution in Motion. The centerpiece in the band’s seasonal sprint arrived on July 4-6, when it brought fan fervor to new heights with the second annual BISCOLAND festival. The group also made headlines with the grand unveiling of the inaugural SeaBisco Alaska cruise, which will bring the community on a journey across The Last Frontier from Sept. 9-15 next year.
Tickets for both of The Disco Biscuits’ New Year’s Eve shows will become available through an artist presale tomorrow, Aug. 7, at 12 p.m. ET; fans from the City of Brotherly Love can secure passes with code HELICOPTERS.
