Adult film star Stormy Daniels’ ex-husband Glendon Crain, aka Brendon Miller, is also an adult film actor, reported People Magazine. Crain, who is also a heavy metal drummer, married Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, in 2015. He filed for divorce from Daniels in 2018 when allegations first surfaced that the latter had a sexual encounter with Donald Trump when he was not president. The Guardian stated that the two also share a daughter.
Per The Independent, Crain’s stage name is Brendon Miller, and he has appeared in several adult films. In July 2018, he and Daniels were living together in Dallas, Texas, when he filed for divorce and sought sole custody of their then-seven-year-old daughter. Additionally, he requested child support and a financial award from Daniels. Among other things, the father-of-one also asked for a share of their property.
According to People Magazine, Stormy Daniels’ ex-husband, Glendon Crain, was featured in her recent Peacock documentary, Stormy. The duo spoke about their split, the real reason behind their divorce, and the contentious custody battle over their daughter. The documentary premiered on March 18, 2024, and is now available to stream on the platform.
Why did Stormy Daniels and ex-husband Glendon Crain divorce?
The Guardian and The Independent reported that Stormy Daniels’ ex-husband, Glendon Crain, filed for divorce on July 18, 2018, in Texas. He claimed that the filing was on the grounds of adultery and requested sole custody of their daughter. Crain was also granted a restraining order, which stopped Daniels from visiting their daughter without supervision.
Crain’s divorce filing stated that his marriage to Daniels “has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities. The drummer also alleged that his wife was putting their then-seven-year-old daughter ‘in imminent threat.’” In the filing, Crain stated that by taking their daughter on tours with her, Daniels was putting the girl in the way of “serious and immediate physical or emotional harm.”
According to People Magazine, Glendon Crain filed for divorce shortly after allegations surfaced about Stormy Daniels’ alleged affair with Donald Trump in 2006. Daniels, who claimed Trump offered her hush money in 2016 and made her sign an NDA, was attempting to terminate this agreement when the news of the divorce filing came. The adult film star alleged that Trump made his lawyer, Michael Cohen, pay her $130,000 as hush money before the U.S. Presidential elections to avoid a scandal. Trump has denied all allegations.
Per CBS, Daniels’ then-lawyer, Michael Avenatti, tweeted about the filing that it was her and Crain’s mutual decision to divorce. Avenatti’s tweet stated that the “accuracy” of the divorce filing is “vehemently disputed.” Later, the mother of one also tweeted about her “need” for privacy.
People Magazine reported that Stormy Daniels and her ex-husband Glendon Crain opened up about their divorce in the recent Peacock documentary. Daniels claimed that Crain had “started to kind of unravel” and that he even screamed at her. She said that they had started fighting often and that “it went downhill really quickly.” The star believed it was “surprising because we had a really good relationship and marriage, like it worked really well.”
Crain, on the other hand, alleged that the “infidelity increased” while Daniels was in the midst of the Trump controversy. The ex-husband alleged that Daniels was romantically involved with filmmaker Denver Nicks. He also mentioned that the hush money Trump allegedly paid to Daniels “came to my bank account” but claimed he didn’t know about the “sexual part.”
Daniels further recalled their contentious divorce and custody battle over their daughter, claiming she felt “horrible” for breaking his heart. She said that it was “the one thing in this whole thing that I regret. He [Crain] really didn’t deserve this. And he’s a really good dad.” Crain also added, “It’s not a perfect situation,” he said, “but we’re trying to make the best of it.”
The former couple revealed that they made an amicable arrangement after their initial differences over the well-being of their daughter.
